GRADUATE DIPLOMA OF RAILWAY SIGNALLING

The IRSE Australasian Section, which now has the management rights to the IP of the Graduate Diploma in Railway Signalling course material, are pleased to have engaged Competency Australia to deliver the course commencing in 2020.


The Graduate Diploma of Railway Signalling is an exciting opportunity for graduate engineers to undertake a broadly based, structured course in Signal Engineering. It will be offered as distance education and closely follows the previous course with the addition of some improvements and updates.  It is closely aligned to the set of knowledge and skills required by the IRSE for corporate membership.

    WHO SHOULD ENROL

    • Engineers who wish to develop their knowledge, skills and careers in railway signalling
    • Graduates with a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline who have more than six months of work experience in the railway industry
    • Railway technicians who have extensive experience in the areas of railway signalling
    • Engineers who would like to improve their understanding in a particular subject may undertake a selected Unit as a single non-award course
