Sponsorship Opportunities now Available!
The Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) is an international learned society involved in the promotion of
the science of railway signal engineering. The IRSE arranges a comprehensive annual program of technical
meetings across Australasia to meet the needs of the rail industry, in the field of Signalling, Telecommunications
and Train Control Systems.

The NSW state committee of the IRSE has been tasked to organise the next Technical Meeting, which will be held
in Sydney on the 16 -17 November 2018. Technical Papers will be presented on Friday 16 November 2018
followed by a Technical Site Tour on Saturday 17 November 2018.

The theme of the meeting is
Advanced Signalling to Deliver Our Transport Needs. Through this theme the
State committee hopes to promote the emergence of new technologies in Rail Systems and help to ensure the
engineering innovations strengthen the reliability, safety and efficiency of our passengers and freight transport

Sponsorship Opportunities
Over the years the IRSE has managed to contain delegate costs to a reasonable level by way of the generous
industry sponsorship. To achieve a similar outcome, for the Sydney Technical Meeting in November 2018, we are
seeking industry support by purchasing a combination of advertisements, trade tables and sponsorship
opportunities. The Sponsorship Flyer has full details. All advertisements are included as part of an IRSE
information pack along with an electronic copy of the technical papers and proceedings.

Should you wish to avail yourself of the ‘Sponsorship Program’, I would encourage you to
register on the IRSE
Website now
at or, non-preferred method, complete the downloaded form and email to - attention Subhajit Dey (Sydney Technical Meeting Organising Committee – Sponsorship).

A high resolution Company Logo is required for presentation purposes. The image should be in JPEG, BMP,
TIFF or equivalent. Please email the logo to Subhajit Dey.

Advertisements (150) you wish to have included within the information packs must be supplied not later than 2 November 2018.

It is expected that this Technical Meeting will attract more than 150 delegates. Sponsorship at the meeting
offers significant opportunity for organisational recognition and I encourage your active participation.
