Has IRSE lost its way? IRSE Australasia is thriving but what is happening in the rest of the world?
Put your views to the President and hear his views at the Sydney Local Meeting on 5 August 2010.
Paul Jenkins, the IRSE UK President for 2010/2011 will present his views, followed by open discussion on where IRSE should be going internationally and what its aims should be.
With more than 10% of the worldwide membership of the IRSE, Australasia has less than 5% representation on the IRSE Council. 85% of our fees stay in the UK and more will be retained there in years to come. Are we getting value for money?
There was a lively discussion about value for money, logos and directions following the Presidential Address in Perth. This is your opportunity to influence IRSE vision and help form a strategy for the IRSE that is representative of the views of the members. If you are a not a member, your views are even more welcome.
The meeting will be held at the Sydney Masonic Centre: 66 Goulburn Street, Sydney. 4:30 pm start. Please join us for free drinks and savouries after the meeting.
All meetings are free and everyone is welcome!
This meeting is sponsored by Ansaldo-STS.
